The most popular game in professional hockey isn’t the traditional NHL Draft, but rather, a brand-new draft, with the NHL adding a brand new twist to the game.
With the NHL’s new draft, the teams are selecting players with a certain number of NHL experience.
So the players are entering the draft with a reputation for being good, and if they do well, they are given a number of prospects who have a lot of potential.
This means that there is a lot to learn about a player before they are drafted, and there are also a lot more prospects available to the NHL than there are to NHL teams.
A few players, including forward Cody McLeod and goaltender Jake Allen, are expected to be taken in the first round.
Players who have been drafted in the past like forward Michael Del Zotto and defenceman Nick Leddy are also getting their chance to show what they can do.
McLeod, the third overall pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, was drafted in 2014 by the New York Islanders.
Leddy, the fifth overall pick of the 2016 NHL Entry draft, was selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2018.
He is expected to go in the second round.
McLeod and Allen have played for the Chicago Blackhawks in the Kontinental Hockey League, but have not made an appearance for the NHL in the last two seasons.
Allen has not been in the NHL since 2018, so his NHL experience is limited.
Allen is the younger brother of former NHLer Taylor Allen.
He was traded to the Washington Capitals in December for defenseman Jake Virtanen.
Allen’s draft pedigree, along with the number of games he has played for Chicago and his work with the Blackhawks, should give him a chance to play in the draft.
Allen is a player who has impressed NHL scouts over the last few years.
He plays the game hard and competes hard.
He can play a physical game as well as a smart one.
He has played in more than 50 NHL games and he has a plus-10 rating in those games.
In addition, he has two assists in his last five games.
Allen’s ability to play on the top line is what makes him special.
He does not rely on his offensive prowess to win games, but he does create opportunities for his linemates.
When McLeod is healthy, he plays on the wing.
Allen, on the other hand, is more of a two-way player, who likes to fight for the puck in his own end and also use his stick and body to block shots.
This season, Allen has scored five goals and added 14 assists in 35 games.
McLahey, the youngest player drafted in this year’s draft, has been skating with the Winnipeg Jets since being selected in the seventh round of the 2013 NHL Entry NHL Draft.
He also has played with the Colorado Avalanche.
Mc Lahey has played four games for the Winnipeg franchise this season.
The NHL draft is in two rounds, with rounds three and four playing out on Tuesday.
